Lot #71Brownlow Cecil, 2nd Marquess of Exeter. Original signed free-front envelope to a Mr John Clark of Newmarket, dated 30th November 1826. Nicely signed 'Exeter' in black ink. An early signature of Cecil, who played one first class match in 1817. G/VG - cricket<br><br>Charles Greville held office in the first two Tory administrations of the Earl of Derby. He was made a Knight of the Garter in 1827 and admitted to the Privy Council in 1841. He died in 1867
