Lot #663 Reverend David Stuart Sheppard. Cambridge University, Sussex & England 1950-1964. Brown M.C.C./England ‘Gray Nicolls’ cricket coffin, decorated in M.C.C./England colours and Sheppard’s name, and P&O stickers to sides, probably used by Sheppard on the M.C.C. tour of Australia in 1962/63. The coffin contains a Cambridge cricket scarf (name label to scarf) and two Cambridge related caps, one a Sussex martlets cricket cap. Good condition throughout. The vendor appears to have purchased these items
